Nine Months

How special it is that our boys share a birth date... the 5th of the month! They are exactly 4 years and 3 months apart, to the day. I cannot believe my baby is 9 months old.  We won't go to the doctor for another few weeks, so I'll have to wait to post his official stats.

• Tate weighs 22 pounds
• Wears size 4 diapers
• Wears size 18-24 month shirts and 12-18 month pants (long torso like his daddy and brother)
• Smiles a lot, laughs, babbles
• Likes to eat, and has liked every food I have given him except carrots. His favorite is still fresh avacado.  He also has tried yogurt, cheese, more solid fruits and veggies, and rice this month. He loved it all.
• He eats 3 "solid" meals a day, still nurses 4-5 times a day, and enjoys Cheerios, puffs, and yogurt bites as snacks several times a day. 
• Still hasn't had any formula yet, but we'll see. I am going to start trying out a sippy cup soon. I still think he's young, but I want to get him comfortable with the idea.
• Has the bottom two teeth that he's had since 6 months, but none others have poked through yet.
• Crawling like a maniac, and pulling up to his knees.  He has pulled himself up to his feet a few times, too.
• Is much more demanding for attention (and food)
• Got really carsick on the way home from Granbury, so I am worried about that :(
• Loves to play with balls. He found a ping pong ball in Granbury last weekend and was obsessed with it, so I bought him a package at the store. He loves them. He also loves Cole's Nerf football and junior-size basketball.
• Still loves the jumperoo
• Sleeping through the night, but has a cold this week, so he's been up a few times during the night
• Still loves to play with his big brother best of all. They are amazingly close, and we are blessed. I hope this lasts forever.

(He doesn't look like his usual chipper self because he has a terrible cold & cough.)
