I'm a Believer

In TOMS shoes.  If you don't know about TOMS, let me give you the Cliff Notes version. They've been around since 2006 and have become very popular in the last two years.  The company is philanthropic because they donate a pair of shoes to a person in need for each pair of shoes that the sell.

Reagan had a couple of pair when she came to visit us after Tate was born, and she tried to convince me then that they were the most comfortable and versatile shoes.  On the other hand, some friends told me that I would be too granola if I wore them. I will admit that they are a mother earth company, but the shoes are wildly popular among your typical prepsters now.

I held out, agreeing with Kayla, but finally decided I would try some when I saw that they had a super-cute camel corduroy style out for fall:

Love. Them. So much so, that now Tate has a new pair of Tiny Toms on the way for him.

And look how happy he was when I told him:

Mommy needed another pair. Because, you know, camel corduroy doesn't go with everything.

We just helped two people in need, and two people look cuter. ;)

  3. Dru has already worn out 2 pair! I got a pair 2 years ago but wasn't crazy about them. I've become a believer again though and love them. Not as much as my Tory Burch loafers though :)

  4. We had a student worker in our office a few years ago who did a semester with the company and we heard ALL about it. Such great stuff! I've pinned several cute pairs for Delaney, I need to give in and order them.
