Mrs. Bell borrowed Cole's great-grandmother's copper tea server for the party, and Cole wore his dad's tie. Cheetah, the aptly-named stuffed cheetah that Cole has, was his guest to the tea party.
After the tea party, I went up to the school and helped the class prepare for the "I Read a Great Book Parade." This was a parade of the entire Lower School. Mrs. Bell's class read "Firefighters: A to Z." Each child was assigned a letter of the alphabet and had to carry a prop that corresponded with that letter and would be used by a fireman. Cole had the letter L, which is ironic because this is one speech sound that he can't say. After several attempts of crafting a ladder for him, I finally had to get Mike to use his drill on some wooden dowels. When in doubt, use a drill.
Each class in the Lower School participated, but I think Mrs. Bell's class blew the others out of the water. She did so much more than most of the classes, and we are HAPPY to have her!
Saturday morning we carted the boys to north Tyler for family photos for our Christmas cards. Despite the cold weather and last minute costume change, they did great. I can't post a picture because I don't want to ruin the surprise, but my friends Wes and Shelly did an AWESOME job!
After photo fun time, I accompanied Cole and some of his friends to the Peanuts' Great Pumpkin train ride at the Texas State Railroad. The kids got to dress up in Halloween gear, and had a blast.

Cole was the best at the baseball game to knock down the milk bottles. Seriously. He knocked down 6 bottles with just 2 ball tosses. I am not biased (okay, so I am), but I didn't see another kid do that with less than 3 balls.

I was WORN OUT by the time we got home, and then I had to watch Tech get their rears handed to them. Can we re-wind?
Karate tournament was this afternoon, and will be a separate post. This kid had a jam-packed, fun-filled, crazy weekend! He is one lucky little lad.

You can't expect Cole to smile for the camera all day long, right? At lease he smiled in the morning when it counted the most :)
