Moore Pumpkins

When I said we had a BIG week last week, I wasn't just wasting my breath.  Cole's class, along with the other Pre-K class and two kindergarten classes, had their first field trip on Friday.  I was a chaperon for the trip to Moore Farms to help the kids pick and learn about pumpkins.  It was a nice reminder of why I would not make a good teacher. ;)

The kids made their shirts for the field trip in Art.

The kids pulled an old-fashioned plow.

I really only half-joke about my career choice: I loved taking the kids on this field trip, and I am SO GLAD that I have reduced my work load so that I have the opportunity to do these things. I would not trade this time with Cole for anything. I also love Mrs. Bell, and am so glad that Cole is in her class!
