Ten on Tuesday

1. What type of phone do you have? Do you like it?
An iPhone 4. Love it. See the awesome pictures that it takes...

I think the clarity for a camera phone is great. It also takes videos, I can surf the web, and play Words with Friends (a game like Scrabble) with Shelly and Katy in the middle of the night when they are nursing their sweet babies, too :)

2. How old were you when you got your first cell phone?
16.

3. How many cell phones have you owned since your first?
A lot, and I am on e-mail, text messages, or the phone all of the time.

4. How much is your average monthly phone bill?
$150. Thank goodness Mike's is paid for through his work or we would be spending a lot on monthly phone service!

5. When you were a kid/teenager, were you allowed to have a phone in your room?
Yes, I had my own phone in my room in 5th grade, and I got my own line in 7th grade when we moved. My parents would die if they knew how much I was on it. Oops, I guess they know now.

6. Do you like talking on the phone or do you despise it? Or somewhere in-between?
Not a fan.  You are much more likely to get a response from me if you e-mail me. I love to Skype and love Face Time on the iPhone, though. Cole likes to Face Time with Hadley. The other day they talked to each other for 20 minutes or so. Hadley walked around showing Cole her dolls (to which Cole said, "I don't like dolls") and Cole walked outside to show her a wasps' nest.

7. Do you text a lot? Is texting/talking while driving illegal where you live? Are you guilty of it anyway?
Texting while driving is only illegal in school zones. I try not to, but I admit that I check my e-mail while driving. Never when the boys are in the car, though.

8. What sort of texting keyboard does your phone have? Touch screen, slide out, or something different? Do you care?
Touch screen and I like it.

9. Look at the last call in your call log – who is it? What were they calling about? Who calls you the most?
The last call was from Jenna at a private school about setting up a tour. We are still weighing options for Cole's Pre-K schooling next year.

Kayla, my sister-in-law, calls me the most often, and my husband, Reagan, my mom, my dad, and Kelley fall in line after that.

10. What is the longest phone call you can recall having?
Probably 6 hours in junior high. I want to shoot myself if I have to talk longer than 10 minutes now.

  1. All the responses regarding hating the phone of course do not apply when you are talking to your favorite sister in law!!! :)

  2. I am obsessed with the Iphone 4! I am so glad you have it. FaceTime is so neat. Hadley asked to call Cole last night but I told her she would have to wait until today, it was late.
