5 Months

I cannot believe that Tate is already five months old. Time has just flown by with this second baby even faster than with Cole-man. I present to you.... the Golden Child at 5 months:

• He weighs 17.5 pounds.  He actually weighed that last week at his check-up, and that was up almost 2 pounds in 2 weeks. I'm sure he's close to the size of a full-grown man now. 
• Wears size 2-3 diapers.
• Wears size 6-9/6-12 month clothes.
• He smiles a lot, laughs, coos, and babbles.
• He still laughs at Cole ALL OF THE TIME.
• He goes to sleep 8:30 pm and wakes up 1-2 times at night to keep up his "svelte" figure
• He rolls and scoots all around, and he is really wanting to sit up; I don't think it will be long before he can sit on his own.
• He gave up the paci on his own, just like Cole did at 5 months!!!
• He sleeps on his stomach.
• He loves the jumperoo and the exersaucer, but really likes to be on the floor where he is not restrained.
• He is eating a solid meal of rice cereal at 5:00 pm; he has tried pears (yummy) and roasted acorn squash (my fav, but he gagged).
• He started at Cole's same school, Methodist Readiness School, on May 31.
• He is still taking Prevacid; I had to stop it while he was on the antibiotic for his ears and it was not pretty.
• He is happy, laid back, and joy to all of us, especially his big brother!
