Outside Air Conditioning

Clay, Sabina, Grace, Kasia, and Peggy came up to our house this weekend.  Clay and Mike - namely, Clay - installed a new attic fan and thermostats in our house.  The projects took up a lot their time over the weekend, so we girls had to find ways to entertain the kids. 

First, we tried the trampoline...

And then water in a Styrofoam cooler...

When the temperature outside got over 100, we came inside for snacks....

Finally, we just gave in and bought a pool.  EVERYONE loved the new pool (despite the solemn faces in the photo below), and we were all glad to finally cool off in the heat and humidity.

  We loved having everyone, though I'm pretty sure Clay, Sabina, and the twins will wait till winter to visit next Texas next year!
