This weekend we went to Austin to see good friends from law school. We used to be referred to as "The Rowdy Bunch" back in Lubbock. We were inseparable for 3 years, then all ended up in different parts of the state. The Halls came from Abilene and we traveled from Jacksonville to meet up with the Andres in Austin. We've added 3 kids to the Bunch since the last time we were together almost three years ago.
We had a great time but I got ZERO pics of everyone. I can't imagine why not.... with 6 "adults," 6 kids, a dog, a cat, and an hour time change over the weekend.
This little man, Scout, is so sweet and darling.
How could you not love this face?!
The youngest two, Tate and Luke, were precious together.
They don't miss ANY meals.
The big kids - Cole, Jack, Scout, and Payton - sitting down to eat whatever food was left over after the Tank Twins scarfed down dinner (see above).
Tate, Cole, and Luke. Tate eating (again), Cole being a great big brother, and Luke smiling. I am not kidding when I say this kid smiles like this all of the time. He has taken over the reigns as the Golden Child.
Luke and Tate playing. Sweet Luke tried so hard to love on Tate all weekend and Tate was having none of it. But just like Jack & Cole, I know these two will be inseparable in a few years.
I did not get any pictures of the actual Rowdy Bunch. Katy said that was because we are now all old and are more like the Drowsy Bunch. Whatever you call us, we LOVE these friends, their kids, and every minute we can spend together.
We also got to see our good friends the Rocaps and their two precious girls. We got in a visit with Peggy and John in San Marcos before we headed home. It was a great time but exhausting. I think we're the "Dead Tired Bunch" tonight.
