We are not Ward & June Cleaver. Shocking, I know. Yes, our kids are beautiful and brilliant (see yesterday's post), but life with two boys does not always look like a Norman Rockwell painting. Some examples from this week alone:
Cole plays in white socks and no shoes outside and the boys tear into Easter gifts from cousin Sawyer while Mom isn't looking.

I make Cole take off his white uniform shirt on spaghetti nights and let him go around shirt-less all afternoon/evening. I mean really, it is either that or I use 1/2 container on bleach and 2 hours of time that I don't have to scrub the shirt before it goes into the laundry.
I let the baby have a Ring Pop (his first) before bed. Naked, of course. See above if you actually need an explanation.
And finally, we (i.e. Cole) have to write apology notes to substitute teachers at school because it is NOT okay to stick out a tongue at the sub during nap time.
It is also frowned upon to pretend to shoot other kids on stage during Chapel while making a gun shape out of our hands. Oh, we love him of course, but this one keeps us on our toes!
love your honesty! and love my nuggets! Sorry about the ring pop - I couldn't resist. Sawyer is getting one for Easter too, and he will be topless as well.
