Random Looks at our Life

It's been a little while since I've had a cell phone photo clean-out post.  Oftentimes at night before bed, or when I'm sitting at a stop light, or sitting outside in the afternoon watching the boys play, I look through the photos on my iPhone. It makes my heart smile, and there is something wrong with you if it doesn't do the same for you :)

Tate is DYING to be able to drive this. He has plenty of his own ride-on and push toys but it doesn't matter because he only wants to drive Cole's huge 4-wheeler. (Grandmothers, do not have a heart attack: the battery was unplugged in this picture. We don't actually let Cole drive Tate around on this thing ... yet.)

This is proof that every order of Taco Bell's pintos & cheese should come with a coupon for a free car wash.  Even a bath couldn't get all the melted cheese off of him.  I sent this to my friend Natalie who wondered if they made bibs like this (thank you, Meredith!) in sizes for her kids - ages 6 and 7.  I wonder if they make them to fit our husbands.

Cole modeling his new Keen sandal shoes for this summer. I'm a HUGE fan of Keens and Chacos.  Keens are anti-bacterial, made of some recycled materials, water-proof, closed-toed (necessary for scooter-riding), breathable, durable, arch-supporting, machine washable, and flexible.  They are also $50.  Thanks to Johnny who let us use his REI coupons, which with the addition of an on-line sale, helped us score these for $3.95 and free shipping. Kate came over one morning before school  last month so that her parents could go to the hospital while her precious cousin Virginia was born.  Here are Kate and Cole showing off their artwork and Tate eating something.  They are 5.5, 2.5, and 1, and they all play together and love each other.  I love them.
