We had an amazing, much-needed, relaxing weekend. Family pizza & movie night on Friday. On Saturday, I met my friend Ann in Canton. We have known each other 22+ years, but this was the first time that we saw (1) a monkey dressed in plaid shorts drinking from a Styrofoam cup with a straw while being wheeled around in a personal shopping cart/animal cage, (2) a 20-something year old man carrying a fluffy dog around in a Baby Bjorn carrier, and (3) a woman with stretch pants on inside-out, tag showing and all. (I could not make this stuff up if I wanted to.) I am only sad that we didn't get the monkey in our photo.
We chilled out on Saturday night and cooked at home, then went to church and lunch afterward on Sunday morning. The boys looked super cute in orange & blue that I dressed them in.
We came home and Cole dressed himself.
While Tate napped and Mike went to check game cameras in Rusk, Cole and I used a face-painting kit that Meredith gave us to create some arm art.
Cole chose the designs (alligator, dog, orca, snake, and dolphin), and I free-handed all of these. I've decided to quit law and become a tattoo artist.
Okay, maybe not, but it will be my contingency plan.
When Tate woke up, he decided to drive his Cozy Coupe a/k/a the best kids' toy ever.
Happy birthday to my father-in-law John this weekend. Hope everyone has a great week.
5 days and counting down till Rowdy Bunch Weekend!

What a creative Mom! Sawyer wishes he was there to share Tater's car and get his arm painted!
