Top 10. Again.

A few years ago, I had a Top Ten list on our Christmas card to commemorate great things that happened that year.  Namely, Tate was born that year ;)  On this last day of the year, I thought it would be nice to include a short top ten for 2013.  Here goes nothing... in no particular order!

10. Cole snowboarded for the first time on our trip to Breckenridge with the Whytlaws, loved it, and is good. 

9. We enjoyed a week at the beach with dear friends and family. 

8. We welcomed a new PRECIOUS nephew, Tyler Neil (whose middle name is from the same great-uncle who Tate Orrin is named after - Orrin O'Neil Newell).  LOVE. 

7. Cole graduated from Kindergarten and played in his first piano recital.  

6. Tate graduated from a crib to a toddler bed and diapers to big boy underwear at age 2 1/2.

5. Mike added another title at work, Director of Development, in addition to his position as General Counsel. 

4. I quit my job.  Then I started working again. 

3. Mike ran the New York City Marathon in less than 4 hours. 

2. Cole started First Grade and has so far made straight As! 

1. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, more in love than we were on March 8, 2003.  Tate was really sick and we had to cancel an anniversary trip and celebration to stay home with him, but so is how it goes with small children.  We wouldn't change it for the world.
