I will have much, much more to post about after tomorrow Christmas parties and HO HO HO surprise for the boys but I wanted to do a quick update on happenings this week...
I started back to work on a VERY limited/contract basis. Well, "started" is a strong term because I have not actually had much of a chance to work given that Tate has been sick this week. (This was a rare moment with a smile on Monday and look at that Lego skyscraper he built ALL BY HIMSELF!)
Poor baby has a nasty virus, which he shared with Shotgun the elf...
Speaking of Shotgun, we loved when he first came to our house 4 years ago. Now, we I could go a while without seeing him again. Don't tell Santa I said so. Or the boys. ;)
Here is a little preview of the Christmas party preparation I've been working on for the past two weeks:
I mean, the 8 kids in Tate's class better eat all those homemade cookies and run around on a sugar high for hours, and the 15 kids in Cole's class better appreciate their snacks... I think the googly eyes are staring back at me because I've been gluing so many on. Maybe I just need more sleep.
Finally, I've been following a new blog thanks to recommendation from some friends. A cute blog, which also happens to be having a 12 days of Christmas giveaway today. Let's all cross our fingers and hope I win ;)
I love the name of the blog, especially given that Pinterest is what told me to make the reindeer water bottles and snack bags, and cut out a million strings of raffia for the baby Jesus ornament crafts for Cole's class...
