H2O

Just a short post because (1) I promised my mom and Mamaw that I would post pictures of Cole's school project on here, and (2) I... okay, I think it is sufficient that I promised my mom and Mamaw I would post. ;)

Before we get to Cole, I have to say that we are SO HAPPY with some late August rain.  It didn't really cool things off more than it just raised the humidity, but a certain someone had fun running through puddles this afternoon.

Cole's first project was to decorate a "t-shirt" all about him.  Here is the front of our his finished product.  Water is very important to Cole because he can fish and enjoy the beach.  And, when the water freezes, it makes snow so he can snowboard!

(A little shout-out to JackAttack Andre who made the beach pic Cole picked for the shirt and who started Kindergarten today!)

And the back.  Cole drew all of his friends and wanted a picture of his brother, Tate. He cut out some pictures of dogs and said he wanted to color grass so that the dogs could play on the grass.  He also added a golf ball and club.  Note that we only have 1 dog, Barley, now.  Cole INSISTED that we cut out a picture of black dog so that he could show he used to have 2 dogs, but one died. Because his dad ran over it [accidentally].  Odds are 100% that he will tell the First Grade class about this incident when it is his turn to talk about his shirt.  I hope he doesn't shock the girls. Or the teacher.

Oh, and there were some random heads without bodies and I don't think he has any body-less friends.  We used a couple of BH stickers to cover those. ;)
