For what is TRULY the last hurrah before school starts next week, I took Cole, Breckin, and Braxton to Fire Mountain today, a small amusement park in south Tyler. Cole won 3 all-you-can-ride wristbands in a school fundraiser and raffle last spring. I promised him I would take him this summer, but this week was the first chance we've had. The boys had a blast. I need a nap.

There were other people there but I took these pictures early on (we arrived right at opening time). But, it wasn't too crowded and I was thankful for the cooler (90s instead of 100s) weather.
Summer is officially over on Monday, we have Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, and the first day of First Grade on Wednesday. I've had fun with the munchkins this summer. Cole's had so much fun he is NOT ready to go back to school. You've got 5 days, kiddo....
