Deck the Halls. In flip flops.

Yesterday was December 1. Merry Christmas. Except it felt more like June because it was 80 degrees and humid.

The Andres had planned to come spend the weekend with us but poor JackAttack got sick, so they stayed back in Austin and we spent Saturday running errands and getting two trees.  We all "have the Christmas spirit" this year as Cole says :)

This is the small tree in the tv/playroom

And the large one in the formal living room.  Cole and I put most of the decorations on while The Baller was napping.  As expected, as soon as Tate woke up he was pulling the ornament balls off the tree and hurling them across the living room.

The selection of trees this year was slight, so we ended up with one that has a pretty big hole in it, but we still love getting real trees.  We'll just call it "character."

This week, the UPS man delivered a CUTE rug from The Whytlaws. It really is made to go by an outside door, but it looks so cute in front of the sink that I left it there.

My friend, Holly, and her mom made these cute signs that they were selling at a Christmas fair yesterday.  We had to have one.

For this, I have no words except that I LOVE THESE BOYS.

Now, let's break out the Bermuda shorts and have a relaxing Sunday!

  2. So glad Tater likes throwing taking off the ornaments too. Sawyer will be happy to join him in Christmas fun! And, that last picture really gets me in the Christmas spirit!
