Festivities 2012

~Christmas 2012~

A champagne toast to awesome SILs and friends.  It was 12:00 somewhere.

The boys and their toys on Christmas Eve morning -- in hats and jackets with their pajamas!

JH & Kayla enjoying the beautiful weather on Christmas Eve, which was good because Christmas day was cold, windy, wet, and dreary. That makes 2 years in a row.  I know I sometimes complain about the Texas heat and East Texas humidity, but I would have traded the weather on 12/25 for a sunny day. Especially with 3 boys 6 and under!

The little boys on a Christmas Eve wagon ride. Or "wagon wide" if you are 2.

Ready for presents! It was a little hectic and loud, but they had so much fun and we are thankful for all the laughter and gifts. And Xanax.

Sweet Saw opening a gift

Cole and THE HIT of the haul: a remote-controlled Corvette from Baca & Grandpa. All 3 boys wanted this. After hearing too much screaming "MINE!" we figured out that Cole could drive it and the little boys would just run after the car trying to catch it like a game. Crisis averted.

In the midst of it all

Love this shot of Kayla & Sawyer

Should we play with our new toys? No, let's wrestle. And put the baby on the bottom!

Coming down the stairs Christmas morn

To lots of surprises from Santa

Rocking horses, transportation blocks that make noises, new slippers, and more for the little boys
A Nintendo 3DS with two games and pajamas for Cole
Full stockings for all

Saw in the pop-up bus tent that we gave him playing with what else -- a toy BUS!

Once the munchkins finally settled down, the "adults" played games and enjoyed a fire

We had a very Merry Christmas, and we feel so blessed.

We miss and love all of our families that we could not be with, and hope to see everyone soon. Happy Holidays to all.
