This is what is currently under the tree. It is only December 11, and this doesn't include packages from half the family or Santa Claus.
This is what the boys like to play with:
Proof that these sweet boys DO NOT NEED ANYTHING! A couple of big cardboard boxes will do the trick to create a train and play in all evening.
We are also gearing up for Christmas celebrations at Cole's school, including his Christmas concert this week (don't you worry your pretty little minds - I will be posting videos for sure) and his class Christmas party.
The kids get so much at the class party with a book exchange and favors that I decided to give our favors a little early this year. Tomorrow is Cole's day to bring snacks for the class (each child is assigned 1-2 days a month to bring the snacks), and so I incorporated our favors into the snacks for the day.
Plastic Christmas cups from Wal-Mart (4 for $0.98), Christmas straws from the Dollar Store (5 for $1), and individual packages of Ritz crackers (8 for $2.50 at Wal-Mart). I tied these up in plastic favor sacks, tied with ribbon, and attached a cute tag that I printed for free from Pinterest. Snacks and a Christmas gift from Cole for all 14 kids in his class for about $1 a child.
I'm actually thinking I will do the same for Tate's classmates, too! Unless he gets kicked out of preschool before then for tackling. The girls. *Sigh* That's my little lineman.
Ho, ho, ho!
sooo creative! Cute!
ReplyDeleteCute class gift ideas! Read as "I may have to steal." And, Tate is not tackling, he is giving big bear hugs, I'm sure. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Our nuggets are so similar. Sawyer played with a cardboard box for an hour last night. He wanted to be carried down the stairs in it...Clearly he needs his cousins so that he can make a train!
