Ten on Tuesday is... BACK!

I thought participating in Ten on Tuesday this week would be a fun way to start off this new year on the blog. So here goes...

1. What did you get for Christmas?

I got so many things, but my favorites were from Mike, who spoiled me this year.  A zoom lens for my camera (this was actually Clay's that he and Mike gave to me!), a tripod for the camera, a sweater and scarf from Loft, a silk dress blouse, an awesome silver ring with turquoise inlay, AND a chocolate brown weather-proof North Face jacket. Score!

2. Have you taken down your Christmas decorations?

Yes.  In part because I have to get ready for Tate's birthday party this weekend.  Mainly because I'm OCD. They were all put back up by the third day after Christmas.

3. What did you do for New Years Eve?

Cooked a nice meal, hung out with Mike and the boys, and went to bed before midnight because we were exhausted after several weeks of company and travelling. As Mike so aptly said, "We aren't Valentine's Day people and we aren't New Year's Eve people." True that, honey. 

4. Do you like accents?Not sure if this is asking about vocal accents or home accessories.  I don't think I have a strong opinion on either. I like British accents and I don't like clutter. How's that?!

5. What kind of television do you have?

We have at least 5 TVs, but I'll go with the one we watch most - the small Insignia flat screen in the kitchen. The kids have taken over the 56" Sony plasma mounted over the fire place in the living room. Go figure.

6. Did you make any changes at the beginning of 2012?
I started using different body wash and lotion. Does that count?

7. What’s the last book you read and do you recommend it?

O'Connor's Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. I highly recommend it if you are a practing lawyer in federal courts in Texas. Otherwise, you'd probably want to shoot yourself. I only wish I had time to read real books.

8. Do you stay current on celebrity gossip?

I have the TMZ app on my iPhone and have People and E! News gadgets on my iGoogle page that I look at.

9. Do you know the words to Bohemian Rhapsody? Gangstas Paradise? Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?

Um, yes. With the possible exception of JH, I have the lyrics to more songs memorized across all genres than anyone I know. If only I could carry a tune while singing them...

10. What is your favorite education television show?
Cole says his is Dino Dan. I'll go with that.
