Cole: "Mommy, how do you spell pterodactyl?"

Mommy: "Pt..., well, it's a hard word to spell, Cole."

Cole: "But what letter does it start with?"

Mommy: "P, but in this case the P is silent and you pronounce the second letter, T... um, do you want to watch a television show?"
