Instead of "Wedding Crashers," we were family reunion crashers this Independence Day. The Williams/Whytlaw/Bishop families invited us to Lake Granbury to celebrate the long weekend. We had a great time as always. It was just a little crazy with 5 kids ages 5 months to 5 years. Thanks to all of them for letting us join their celebration.
A boat ride was a great way to start off our Saturday at the lake.
There was a lot swimming all weekend.
Reagan and Grady
The big kids got to jet ski with Reagan.
Tate was in Heaven rocking on the dock with his "Second Mimi" (aka Susie).
How cute is Miss Mallory?!
Tate wanting some of Tank's Cocoa Puffs. Are we surprised? I think not.
Snuggle buddies. Susie said that Tate was such a cute chubby cuddler that she thought if you squeezed his thighs, lots of love would just ooze out!
These two obviously use the same barber ;)
Hadley (almost 6) and Cole (4 1/2)
There were a lot of fireworks on Sunday night, so the big kids got on their patriotic gear and we all sat by the pool and watched the beautiful show over the lake.
We are grateful for our independence and freedom, and for all of those who have served, do serve, and will serve in the United States military.
Happy Independence Day
(and a very Happy 60th Birthday to my Dad)
