I thought the 10 questions were fun last week, so I'm answering again this week. You can learn things about me that you never needed to know.
1. What is the weather like in your city today?
Cool, which is unusual for May in East Texas. But yesterday I did get to dress the boys in cute matching long-sleeved shirts from my friends Blake and Nisha. See the post below for their darling faces.
2. Do you like the zoo?
I don't love the idea of animals in cages, but now that I have kids I enjoy good zoos that at least put on a front like the animals are taken care of. The Tyler zoo close to us is great.
3. Do you eat coconut?
No. Gross.
4. Have you ever hammered a nail? Are you good at it?
Yes, and yes.
5. Does your family have a vacation destination that you visit often?
Taos to ski and Port Aransas to relax on the beach. We visit both of these places once every year... except this was the first year since I was 6 that I have not skied. Having a baby was worth that sacrifice, though.
6. How many pillows do you sleep with?
Three. Four if you count My Brest Friend, the best nursing pillow ever invented. Two of those are to prop me up half-asleep at 2:00 am to feed the Tubbsters.
7. What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
Feed Tate. Notice a theme here?? Fatty likes to eat.
8. Will you send your kids to summer camp?
Duh. Laity Lodge Youth Camp. The BEST camp EVER.
9. What do you put in your baked potatoes?
I prefer baked yams with melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Gems of deliciousness.
10. Did you take swimming lessons as a kid?
Yes, and I had a pool growing up. I have feelings of guilt every summer that we don't have a pool for the boys. Thank goodness we have lots of friends with pools. They are better friends in the summers ;)
Cole finishes up swimming lessons this week. This is him with Ms. Sarah after he dove down (in the shallow end) and picked up the dive stick.
Love this post again :) Yay for Cole going under and getting the dive stick!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I forgot about ten on tuesdays! I may have to start this too, although we may have a discrepancy for summer camps. Laity Lodge was good as long as it was the second week and you received the proper daily counseling session from the nurse. I can't believe you are still my best friend after all that ;) What was wrong with me?
ReplyDeleteYou don't like coconut?!? Weird! You're picky for such a good cook! But, I still love you tons and tons! :)
