Fake Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with the Bromley side of the family this past weekend.  When we have done this before, Quinn called it "Fake Christmas" because we weren't actually spending December 25th together.  Fake Christmas 2014 was in The Woodlands this year, and we had a great time!

Before we left on Thursday, we celebrated Christmas Around the World in Cole's class.  Each student gave an oral presentation on their assigned country (Thailand for Cole-Man), we all ate foods from around the globe, and then the kids exchanged Christmas books.  So fun!

Who needs cookies when you can have satay?! :)

Once we made it to Sugar Land (after a 4+ hour trip that usually takes 3 -- the traffic gods HATE me), we had fun playing with Sawyer and Tyler, and seeing the Sugar Land Christmas Light trail.

The boys LOVED the carousel.

While I was there, JH was accepted into graduate school to pursue his MBA.  So proud!

Mike came in late Friday and we all headed up to The Woodlands on Saturday morning.  The five boys loved playing together, opening gifts, and destroying Jason & Jodi's pristine house ;)

Merry Fake Christmas from our family to yours!
