I don't care who you root for... this team WINS! ;)

Halloween 2014

First up, the Halloween party at Tate's school, or as Tate referred to it, "My Halloween Birfday Party!"

Dad doesn't make many parties, but he made a special trip during the middle of the work day to be at this one because Tate specifically requested he be there. [Notice the FABULOUS treat bags in the background.  ;)]

Ms. Ruth's Pre-K3 Class

Cole had a book character parade at his school.  I skipped it.  Terrible Mom, I know, but I've seen it the past three years.  And Cole might be the one person who likes to dress up less than me...

He was kid cowboy Jack from Jack and the Giant Barbeque (a take-off on Pecos Bill and all about West Texas!)  He did not tuck in his shirt, carry his book, or wear a red bandanna around his neck.  Sooooo, I didn't miss much.

The Seventh Annual Dawson/McCown Halloween Party was held out at Pistol Creek Ranch this year.  I took my nice camera, and of course snapped hardly any pictures.  The kids were running around way too fast to stop to pose for photos!

Best Friends Saige and Tate, er, Princess Elsa and Peyton Manning.

Hay ride for the bigger kids and some adults.

Cruz-Bear as the cutest puppy you've ever seen

Kate wins the best costume award as Candy Land Princess (seriously- how adorable is she!?).  She's posing with Jazz Girl Gracie Lou. And the pinatas.

Fun times with all the cool kids!

Actually, this wasn't even all of the kids who were there.  Many had left by the time we snapped this, and a few were standing just outside of the shot.  The boys had lots of fun, got sugared-up, came home, and crashed.

Happy Halloween! Or, as I like to call it, November/College Football Saturday/Deer Hunting Season/Cooler Weather/Daylight Savings Time Eve. ;)
