The Third Time is the Charm

Cole had Fall Festival and Grandparents' Day on Thursday and Friday, respectively, this week.  I took zero pictures at Fall Festival, but Cole's class' presentation was cute and then I got to stay to help with some fall crafts.  For the presentation, each student in the class read several lines of a fall poem.  Cole is a great public speaker and of course had his part memorized (as opposed to reading it).  He also spoke really fast.  The apple does not fall far...! ;)

Baca made the trip down for Grandparents' Day for the third year in a row.

(Cole DID NOT want his photo taken this morning, so this was the best I got.)

Here is the little man in 2012 and 2011 with Peggy on the prior two Grandparents' Days:

The décor in our sun room has changed just as much as Cole.

He is - well, Tate and I included - looking forward to this next week off of school and some time in the hill country with lots of grandparents.  If we can just make the 6-hour drive there without complications/stops/cries/whines/potty breaks.  Who wants to volunteer to drive us? Anyone... Anyone?
