After leaving San Antonio, we drove and rode the ferry over to Port A. In the rain. :(
But by the time we checked into Peggy and John's condo, the storm broke and we were able to take a walk on the beach as a family. If you don't think this photo is heartwarming, you should check to see if you have a pulse.
The next afternoon, the Andres arrived. In more rain. :(
After a day playing in our awesome beach house - namely because we couldn't actually get on the beach (check out all the water on the beach in the pic below) - the rain started clearing and these two were ready for some serious boogie boarding.
And another little boy wanted in on the action. #willnotbeleftout
We ended the week with great weather, great friends, great times at the beach...
and the pool...
and goofing around with friends and family!
The Cormiers joined us for a few days, too and Kinzie a/k/a K-Lo is precious. She loved to dance, and to stare blankly at the rowdy boys... sweet Kinzie: boys never change!
Here are the boys from last year to this year. We had the cutest kids on the beach -- just ask me.
(Cole- 6 1/2, Tate- 2 1/2, Luke- 2, and Jack- 5)
It was a crazy, whirlwind week that was so much fun but also really exhausting and stressful for a certain someone to be out of the office. Tate was up for 3 solid hours the last night and we left on the ferry before 6:00 am on less than 4 hours of sleep because of it (we discovered after arriving back home that he had an ear infection, which explains the rough night, poor kid!). But we LOVED every minute with our dear friends, family, and the salty sea air.

SUCH great pics!
