Boys, Baseball & Brothers

On Friday I linked my blog up to Kelly's Korner, which is a blog with thousands of followers, because she was hosting a forum for moms of all boys. So, this post is a little untimely, but let me just set the record straight that I love having boys. And today was a great example of why...

Mike is gone, and so I, despite the fact that he is the assistant coach, handled opening ceremonies and t-ball pictures by myself with both boys.

Go Tigers!

Competitors for t-ball, but such good friends: Cole & Braxton

We were out at the fields for close to 3 hours, and the boys did great.  THANK GOODNESS there were helium balloons and hot dogs to keep Tate occupied.

In the afternoon, the boys took turns pushing each other in the Cozy Coupe.

In the early evening, they played baseball with a spatula and a balloon in the sun room, but I didn't get any pictures.  Tate was the pitcher and Cole was the batter.  They know their respective skill sets.

When I was taking Tate up to bed, Cole told him to take one more turn throwing the balloon and then said, "I love you Tater in the whole wild world!" I'm CRYING over the sweetness.  We tell the boys we love them more than the world when we tuck them in to bed each night. It totally made up for the afternoon when I took the boys grocery shopping and Cole was a wild banshee, running through the store with a zucchini and picking up whole watermelons to put on the produce scale ;)
