Eight Months and...

CRAWLING!

  

• Tate weighs close to 21 pounds
• Wears size 3 diapers
• Wears size 12-18 month clothes
• Smiles a lot, laughs, babbles (his favorite is "babababa"), and "sings"
• Likes to eat, and has liked every food I have given him except carrots and carrot blends. His favorite is fresh avacado.  He also tried veggie straws this weekend and was obsessed with them!
• He eats 3 "solid" meals a day, still nurses 5-6 times a day. I have not given him any formula yet, but may have to start soon because he is getting very distracted while eating these days.
• Has the bottom two teeth that he's had since 6 months, but none others have poked through yet.
• Sleeps like a wild banshee, moving all over the crib.  He is also sitting up in the crib and trying to pull up on the sides, so our goal this week is to get it lowered and get the bumpers off.



• We started letting him cry it out. I don't like this, but he is doing well with sleeping through the night.
• Finally off Prevacid.
• Loves to play with Cole and play with toys - balls and the taggie football are his favorites
• Is developing more of a personality and is more demanding for attention, although he is still very laid back. 
• Loves to play with rattles or anything I can make that rattles. His favorite is an old bottle that I put golf tees in (and taped the lid shut) that he can shake, shake, shake!  
• Loves the jumperoo
