Ice cream and I scream!

Yesterday after school I took Cole and his friend Sutton to get ice cream at Scoops.  They didn't sit still long enough for me to snap a decent picture, but here they are:

  

Cole and Sutton are good buddies, but they don't get to spend much time together anymore because they are at different schools. I decided a little afternoon treat would be fun for them. 

Now, you  might be wondering why I'm screaming... 

I'm fairly certain we are cursed.  Tate's first day back at day care was yesterday after being sick for 5 days.  Yesterday was crazy, and I was hoping that today would go smoothly. Um, nope.  Cole woke up barking like a seal this morning.  If you don't know what I mean, he has croup. Because of his history with RSV, he gets a croup cough every time he gets a cold. Just wonderful. So, Cole is missing the all-school picture today, and is camped out on the bed, coughing.  

All I have to say is that these back-to-school viruses can stick it where the sun don't shine!
