Ten on Tuesday

1. What is your favorite brand of shoes?
Chaco. Specifically, their flip flops.  They should pay me for how much free promotion I give their shoes on my blog.

2. How old were you when you learned to tie your shoes?I don't know. 5, I think. Cole told me yesterday that he wants to learn to tie his shoes. I think we need to work on tucking his shirt in first, no?

3. How do you feel about freckles?
I love them; they give character. I have a lot of character.

4. I can count to ten in 3 languages.English, Spanish, and French, if you're wondering.

5. What is your favorite store-bought ice cream flavor?I'm not a fan of store-bought ice cream, so my choice is Marian's homemade vanilla.  If I had to choose something that comes from a container, I'd go with Haagen-Dazs natural vanilla.

6. Were you in ballet or gymnastics as a little girl?
I think I did ballet and tap for one year when I was 4 or 5, and hated it.

7. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character?
I'm not a fan of cartoons or Sesame Street.  Even as a kid, I was never really into kid shows.  Sesame Street isn't a show that Cole watches, either, so I can't even claim his favorite.

8. What’s your bedtime?Between 9:30 and 10:00. We are most certainly not night owls, especially with two boys that wake us up at the crack of dawn (and sometimes before).

9. Do you have any jewelry that you wear every single day?
Oh, my love-hate relationship with jewelry goes like this: I love it, and it hates me. I am allergic to almost everything but pure platinum, so the only thing I wear every day are my (platinum) diamond and engagement rings. I try to wear some nickel-free studs in my ears most days. If you see me with anything else on, just know that by the evening I'll be rubbing prescription-strength steroid cream all over myself as a consequence of wearing cute jewelry that I'm allergic to.

10. Who is the bug killer in your household?
Cole.  No, really, Mike.  Cole just likes to catch things and then set them free.  Exhibit A, a baby frog that he caught last night...
