Mrs. Bell re-seated Cole at the "red" table this week, which is where his best friend, Dallas, sits, as well as two other children. This was, in part, so that Cole would stop getting up from the "green" table to go visit Dallas, and also because another boy at the red table needed to be moved. He and Dallas have done GREAT, and have both had 4 green days in a row.
Me: Cole, I am so proud of you for staying on green every day so far this week. You are really doing well!
Cole: Thanks, Mom!
Me: Do you like sitting at the same table as Dallas?
Cole: Yes, but I do not like sitting next to Anna. She's a girl.
Me: I'm a girl.
Cole: Yes, but you're a "big" girl and she's a "kid" girl. I only like "big" girls. Anna put something on my backpack and I didn't like it. She was kidding me, and I told her to stop it. I did not like that.
Me: She probably thinks you're cute.
Cole: I AM NOT CUTE. BOYS ARE NOT CUTE.
Me: I mean, handsome: she probably thinks you're handsome.
Cole: I AM NOT HANDSOME. I AM JUST A BIG BOY. AND BOYS ARE NOT CUTE OR HANDSOME!
I think he's cute and handsome!
