I feel like I haven't written in a blog in a while, and it shows because I have tons of pictures that I haven't had a chance to upload. So, here goes a quick recap of November :)
Peggy came in for Grandparents' Day at Cole's school and to spend some time with the boys.
Cole looks grown up to me all of the sudden. And we all know he ACTS 8 going on 15... ;)
Peggy has come in each of the last four years for Grandparents' Day, which Cole always loves. He is lucky to have her!
We all left right after Grandparents' Day was over to head to the Texas Hill County, which means
shooting the compound bow
with perfect aim,
swinging in the trees,
taking Mule rides and hikes up to check out cool, old, abandoned sheep barns and the beautiful fall foliage,
baking cupcakes with Mimi,
and getting to lick off extra frosting,
celebrating Mimi's birthday with her,
getting to see our second cousins and Great Mamaw Cass,
making a rainbow of {hair} color with the family,
and wearing cool new matching pajamas from Mamaw!
We had a great time, despite a looooooooong drive over to Comfort last Friday.
We came home to grandpa Johnny and Mike, went swimming in the hot tub, played with a new RC boat in the pool Johnny built, and enjoyed a FEAST. We topped it all off with dessert and wine and a great time by the fire outside with the Durretts watching TCU beat UT!
We have too many blessings to count, and I am thankful for all of them. Merry Turkey Day to all of you, and Happy Birthday yesterday to my mom!
