This week at school, the second grade classes learned about Johnny Appleseed. The school photographer posted some photos of Cole online, and I loved getting a glimpse of him at his desk working hard...
... or acting like a chipmunk. ;)
On Friday, after four tests, the kids celebrated (i.e. survived the week) by making homemade applesauce and eating apple treats. I was in charge of making apple-cinnamon oatmeal and chicks-in-a-blanket with chicken-apple sausage. Long story short, my crock pot did not survive the oatmeal.
After I made a trip to the emergency medical clinic on Saturday morning for a sinus infection, we headed up to a Super Hero bounce house birthday party for Tate's good friend, Andrew.
The three Super Boys: Tate, Andrew, and Turner
Getting a 4-YO and two 3-YOs to sit still and smile for pictures is impossible. IMPOSSIBLE.
Right before the birthday, I had run into the store and bought a new dress to wear for dinner later that night. It was super cute, bright green, and fun! And here I am with birthday girl Shana and Destiny... in my black dress.
I stained the green dress as I was putting it on. WHO DOES THAT?! The Brand. New. Dress. didn't survive two minutes. Of course, it's dry-clean only and I stained it worse trying get the stains out.
Good thing dinner was at a winery ;)

Love that first pic of Cole. He look so studious! And love little batman Tater! Black dress is super cute!
