Boom!

I don't care who you are - you have to agree these are some cute boys. And you have to agree that I am brave for hosting them all at once.

It's FRIIII-DAAAAY! They have just a little bit of energy.

Cole isn't having a traditional birthday this year because he will be fishing on Lake Powell at the edge of the Grand Canyon with Mike and Dad. Lucky. Little. Boy.
So, we let him have a sleepover with his BFFs, Breckin & Braxton (and we will serve cake at school for the Second Grade classes next week).
Breckin's little brother, Jett, came to play for a while, but didn't stay the night.

We let him open gifts from his friends and the gifts from us because he will be travelling on his actual birthday next week.

Legos!

And the HITS of the day: Boom Co. dart guns (similar to Nerf guns) from us and from the Westbrooks.

Lord, help us!

Tate confiscated the Tech checkers game that Braxton gave Cole while the big boys played zombie apocalypse with the dart guns.

These things were seriously so much fun for the boys. The darts stick to special targets that they mounted all over the house... and on themselves.  I would highly recommend these for anyone with school-age boys running around. And I mean RUNNING around. Running, yelling, screaming around.
The boys actually liked the little pistols better than the bigger gun because they were easier to aim.

They went to bed... eventually.
And they all slept - on the pallet and a thousand popcorn kernels - through the night.

(Of course, they woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 6:00 am and resumed the BoomCo dart gun fighting... in our room.)

Happy first-of-several birthday celebrations to Cole-Man!
