All Orange

Cole is a Guard Dog this year at school -- a Lower School boy that supports the varsity football team at the Upper School.  The Guard Dogs' job is to help with school spirit on game days at the Lower School, and to support and learn from the varsity players.

At the Guard Dog breakfast this morning, each of the Guard Dogs were introduced to their player.  Cole Andrew met offensive lineman Andrew #58!

Cole made a little card to wish Andrew good luck against #1 state ranked UIL-AA Teneha tonight!

Brook Hill is ranked #2 in their TAPPS District this season!

The breakfast was awesome, and the players, Athletic Director, and coaches were all so kind to the little boys. I was honestly in awe of what young gentlemen all of the players were.  Great role models for these little boys, and I can only sing the praises of the school and these kids' parents.  Amazing.

At the game tonight, the Guard Dogs were each introduced and got to run out on the field with the team. SO fun!

Tate was as more excited than Cole to go to the football game, so much so that he asked me every 10 seconds for after we got home from school if we could leave to go to the game.  I was not annoyed at all for those 3 hours. ;)

BH lost the game 15-21, but we had a blast at our first Friday Night Lights of the season. Go Guard! Go Guard Dogs!
