Cole LOVES to dress in nice clothes (cue me rolling my eyes). Regardless of the fact he would be bare-footed in shorts and a fishing shirt all the time if he could, he's been wearing his Sunday best lately.
First up, the ACSI District-Wide Speech Meet. Cole was the only boy in First Grade from Brook Hill to make it to this meet, and we were so proud of him. He recited a Bible verse and competed against 11 other children from 9 different schools. Let me remind you HE IS ONLY SEVEN!!
Gabbie, Julianna, and Cole hanging out in between rounds. Both of these sweet girls are in his class and qualified in Poetry (Gabbie) and Bible Memory (Julianna). In fact, the 4 First Graders who won the Brook Hill competition were ALL from Cole's class. He has an AMAZING class and an AMAZING teacher.

He did not place in the top 3 at the meet, but this experience was great and we are so proud of all of his hard work, his excellent memory, his confidence to speak in front of others, and his ability to leave this shirt tucked in all day. :)
Next up, his "Oh Happy Day!" Easter Musical at school with all of the First Graders. Pictured below is Cole's class (top row to bottom):
CJ, Haleigh, Drew, Jett
Julianna, Breckin, Cole, Dylan
Lily, Emma, Savannah, Brett Lee, Gabbie
Cole and his friend, Breckin, had speaking parts. Cole's friend, Braxton, had a singing solo. All the kids were amazing.

And not to be left out... Tate and Breckin's little sister, Saige, chatted it up during the musical.
These two are a mess. They will join Julianna's little brother (JD) and Dylan's little brother (Steele) at Brook Hill in 2015-2016. Lord help their teacher if they all end up in the same class! ;)
