Our Little Pro

To say the Stansberry boys love to play outside would be an understatement.  They practically LIVE outside, which we love.  We've been playing tons of baseball and golf lately, which Tate calls "golf ball" (like "baseball"). Haha!

All 4 of of us went out for a round of 18 holes on Saturday morning.  Mike played all 18, Cole hit his driver off the tee box and putted for most of those, and Tate got in on the action as well for about 14 holes.

I present to you Tate Stansberry as Phil Mickelson...

Note that Tate hits left handed with golf, baseball, tennis, etc.  He is right-handed for writing and eating.  At the time I took this video, he consistently drove about 100 balls for 30-40 yards each WITH THE BACK OF A RIGHT-HANDED CLUB.  We went to purchase some lefty clubs for him, but they don't sell them in the store so I'll have to order some.  I should probably warn our neighbors across the creek to board up their windows for when his left-handed clubs arrive.

And not to be left out, Cole is getting much better and can drive the ball from our back patio down into the creek, which is probably 80-90 yards.  We've donated about 100 balls to the creek so far.  Perhaps I should buy some Titleist stock.

Here Tate is as Babe Ruth practicing his t-ball swing...

He may not talk as well as most 1 year olds, but the kid can whack a ball better than most 6 year olds I know.   Pro golfers make more than newscasters anyway. ;)

  1. I am beyond impressed. Tate does not need to do any talking. Sawyer can negotiate all future contracts for him, just keep giving that boy balls to hit! Love him!
