We went to Houston/Sugar Land this weekend. That made for three VERY happy and handsome cousins
Mike started off our anniversary on Friday by sending me tulips. These are much better than the time a few years ago that he ordered tulips from a different florist and they delivered them... arranged in fish bowl with plastic Easter grass as the base. Not Mike's fault at all -- what in the world was that florist thinking?! Needless to say, these are beautiful.
We went to the Houston rodeo for the first time and were lucky enough to sit in a box suite courtesy of our friends, Konor and Kristi. Tim McGraw put on a great show after the rodeo. We had a blast!

We enjoyed a relaxing Saturday. We played outside, Mike and Uncle Hunter took Cole to Gatti-Land (aka "paradise" for any 6 year old), and the little boys and moms got in some laughs and some naps.
We planned to take the kids to the fair and mutton bustin' at the rodeo on Sunday morning, but got rained out. We made a trip to the toy aisle at Target instead, and the boys were just fine with that.
Thanks to our friends and family for an awesome weekend! Looking forward to another one coming up :)
