She'll Go Crazy

Yesterday was the first day back at school after winter break for Cole-man, and Tuesdays are my day to drive 3 Kindergarten boys home. The following conversations ensued during route:

Cole: "I got a Nintendo 3DS for Christmas with TWO games!"
Breckin: "Why don't you bring it in the car so we can all take turns playing it during carpool?"
Braxton: "We can each have 5 minutes and then pass it."
Cole: "Well, I like that idea but my mom says, 'No.'  And she's the boss, so that means no."

Damn straight, Cole-man!

Two minutes later...

Breckin: "My mom said I can't have a 3DS."
Cole: "Why don't you ask her again?"
Breckin: "She said no, and she's not kidding."
Cole: "You should keep asking her. Ask her 100 times, over and over, and over, and then she'll just go crazy. Then you'll get one."

Dang it. Back to the drawing board, Cole. And you were doing so well. ;)

In other news, we had a small celebration for Tate's birthday with his class at MRS today. A few Goldfish, some bananas, juice boxes, and frosted sugar cookies for each child.  Tate would have preferred a tub of chocolate icing, but I was not about to leave Ms. Doris with 5 hyped-up 2 year-olds. Well, 5 even-more-hyped-up-than-usual 2 year-olds.

Tate loved the birthday song. He did not look like this when I had to leave and get back to work. :/
