Breck or Bust

We spent the last 5 days in Breckenridge on a FANTASTIC ski trip with our FANTASTIC friends, the Whytlaws.

This is Reagan and me above the tree line at the top of the Breckenridge ski mountain.  The weather was gorgeous. The snow... not so much.   But we skied our hearts out for 3 days.  We had to ride the t-bar lift to get up this high.  It is expert terrain only this high up, though I will say it isn't the most difficult terrain I've skied.  See: Taos.

Tate had a great time. He went to day care two days and stayed at our rental house with Grandpa Johnny the third day.

Hadley and Tate in the hot tub. These are the kids who cooperate for pictures: Grady and Cole are nowhere to be seen when the camera comes out.

But C-man "shredded" it up on the mountain in his first time snowboarding.

He is awesome at boarding and he loved it way more than when he tried skiing last year.  He's a natural rider.

We took one day off from skiing/riding,and we had tons of fun on the mountain roller coaster,

sledding in the driveway,

and squeezing in a visit with Aunt Sabina, Uncle Clay, and the twins!

The Honey Badger LOVED the snow.  Are we surprised?!  Of course I did not get a single picture of him in his snow suit and boots throwing snowballs, but trust me he wore himself out every single day.

I am so thankful for some time off work, time with my family, time with the boys participating in snow sports that we all love, and spending time with my "twin." :)
