Bad Luck Lindsay

Mike is on Twitter. 
Yes, Mike is on Twitter. Anyway, he follows a comedian called "Bad Luck Brian."  Bad and funny things happen to Brian all the time. For instance, "Went to Chick-fil-A. Sunday."
 

I am guest spotting for Bad Luck Brian this weekend.
 

Sunday morning:

Got up, didn't go to church.

Went to Wal-Mart in the afternoon. Saw the pastor.

Promised Cole all weekend we could use his new kids' bake set to make cookies.

Ran out of flour. 
(Hence the trip to Wal-Mart. See post above.)

Wore silk tunic and "skinny" jeans to a friend's 40th birthday party.

Looked fat in all the pictures.

Remembered that "Shotgun" the Christmas Elf on the Shelf needed to fly back on Christmas Eve.  Hid said elf.

Cole found said elf.

"Why didn't Shotgun fly back to the North Pole, Mom?"

I've never looked so forward to a Monday.

In other news, we send our heartfelt condolences to the Andres.  They just gave Tate this Spider Man ball pit (which both boys LOVE). They lost Chris' dad, Ron, last week. Mike is with them now and I wish we all could be there. Ron was a good and kind soul, and he raised one of our best friends.  A toast in his honor!
