After one party (see the post below), we had another!
Tate got to celebrate turning 2 at his Mimi and Papa Jim's house in Comfort.
It was a small celebration with his grandparents, Aunt Kayla, Uncle Hunter, Sawyer, Baca, and the Andres, but he loved being the center of attention for once!
We gave him a new soccer ball and a real goal (think for a 6 year-old, not a 2 year-old... but this 2 year-old can kick and throw better than most 6 year-olds I know).
He also raked in a hockey set, a baseball pitching toy, a bowling set, a bouncy-house pit with 20 balls (Thank you, Andres, we will be returning the "favor"), and more.
TROUBLE in the form of Cole, Jack, Luke, and Tate (but how sweet are the little kids smiling at each other?!)
A house full of 5 boys and cupcakes made for a crazy good time. Emphasis on crazy.
The Birthday Boy was all smiles all day, and loved licking the icing off his cupcake, which makes him his Mimi and Aunt Katy's boy because Mike, Cole and I don't love icing. This sweet boy has a giant sweet tooth to match!
A happy boy with his Mimi and Baca
I can't believe he is two! Time flies by, especially with two busy boys, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Birthday and Happy Birthday Party to one amazing kid!
I absoltely loved seeing Tate soak up the attention. He was all smiles, sweet boy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Tate!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Can't wait for Tate and I to share sweets from now on. I mean who doesn't love dessert? Just hoping he likes eggs and mushrooms too.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what happened, but it seems like turning 2 made him grow up overnight. He looks so much older in these pics (but of course, as handsome as ever!). Stop it, Tate!! Happy Birthday to the little man!! Sorry for the lateness--I've been completely out of the blogging world for almost a month. Booo! We hope it was a great time for the big kid.
ReplyDeletePS--I love the new look! Beautiful.
