Happy 6th birthday to one amazing kid today!

 

 

Cole-man loves riding his bike, scooter, and 4-wheeler.  He loves playing outside, pretend playing with vehicles, airplanes, action figures, etc., and watching movies.  He loves school and playing piano. He is kind-hearted. He is not overly outgoing, but loves life and is a truly happy soul.  He is smart, independent, and not apologetic for following his own path.  He has the perfect balance of strength and sensitivity.  He thinks for himself, but thinks of others. Best of all, he is an amazing brother.

 

Despite all of this, he is not perfect.  I know, stop the presses. He did have to lose privileges (i.e. television/movies) last night.  When we went to pick up Tate from the church day care yesterday, the kids were outside playing in a fenced-off playground.  Cole proceeded to LOCK the padlock on the gate while I was talking to Tate's teacher, Mrs. Doris (about how she is using Tate to help teach another boy in class how to jump off things and land on the ground without falling over.... oh, this is fodder for another post).  Another teacher had to go inside to get a key and unlock the gate to let us all out...

 

Such is life with this boy.  This amazing, energetic, smart, wonderful, 6 year old BOY.
