Grandparents' Day 2.0

This was a special weekend because Baca  (or Baba as Tate calls her) came to visit us and spend the second Grandparents' Day in a row with Cole at his school.

 

 

Grandparents' Day 2012 and 2011.  I think Cole has grown a foot.

 

Tater was happy Baca was here.

 

We spent a lot of time outside playing in huge piles of leaves.

I know what you are thinking: how does Mike Stansberry have huge piles of leaves when he blows off the patio twice a day and rakes during any spare time he has?

Four words: Backpack blower is broken.

Baca was sweet to come in for Grandparents' Day, even sweeter to run errands with two wild kids and two stressed parents all day Saturday, and most of all for bringing me an entire bag of fresh pecans from Hearne just because she read on my blog that I had been craving some!
