We finished our vacation with 5 nights in Port Aransas with our dear friends, the Andres. The Leevers, their friends the Valadezes, and Peggy all met us down there over the final 2 day weekend. This was the first full week that Mike and I have ever taken off. EVER.
It may not have been glamorous [an impossibility with young kids around water], but we had a great time and I think we both even managed NOT to think about work for a few days. Hallelujah.
I took more than 100 pictures, so as you can imagine, there is too much cuteness to show you. I'm posting my favorite shots here.
To say this child LOVES the water would be a gross understatement. He may not be built like Michael Phelps, but that isn't stopping him from diving head first into the pool and the ocean.
Inseparable.
I am pretty sure he's my kid ;)
The Andre Clan
I love this kid. And this kid loves the ocean.
Again, inseparable friends.
Let's play a fun game - which kids belong to which parents? ;)
Cole (5 1/2), Tate (19 mos.), Luke (14 mos.), Jack (4 1/2)
The boys and their Baca on the beach. They could not get enough play time with her!
Wake boarding champion
I love this shot of the cousins: Tate, Cole & Sawyer. It was a spontaneous shot [because the "planned" ones didn't turn out!] and it shows their love for eachother and each of their personalities.
The moms of those adorable cousins
The "Woogie"
We rented an awesome home in a gated community, so the boys were able to ride bikes every night.
The Babies.
Our boys.
Digging for shrimp
Six monkeys on a couch. Four under 2. We had a *quiet* and *relaxing* dinner. Um, not so much but I loved that we were all able to get together. Analeigh was out-numbered, but she held her own by out-talking even the big kids!
Chris, Richie, JH, and Mike. Sorry ladies, they are all taken.
High five on the beach!
Love this shot of Katy and Luke
We could not get these kids out of the surf!
Dads and the older boys went fishing off the pier two mornings
This isn't the best picture of any of us [the last day after ocean and pool time], but it is the only one I have of the 8 of us that shared the house. We loved the beach, the pool, the vacation, and especially spending time with friends and family.
~CHEERS~
Looks like fun! We just got back from the beach, too and relaxing is not the word :) You're right - kid counting constantly and chasing them to the water is a lot of work - but fun :)
ReplyDeleteThe picture of Cole on the chair with his pal is OH SO CUTE. And Tate in that second picture looking off is just way too precious.
GREAT pics. Glad we could tag along, even if just for the day. Sawyer cannot get enough of his cousins!
