Hodge-Podge

News Alert, News Alert: The Stansberrys did nothing this weekend. That's right - NOTHING! It was the best! After a crazy summer filled up with activities, weekend trips,  mini-vacations, one big vacation, and the start of Kindergarten last week for Cole, it was nice to just sit back and relax.  As a result, I don't have any clever stories for the blog. What I do have is a hodge podge of pictures from the last couple of weeks to share.

A group of us went for GNO and to celebrate Kelley's birthday last Tuesday
(Cori, Jill, Julianna, Kelley, Kourtney, me, Natalie, Kristen)

And all of us shared this dessert after some sushi - so fun!

Mike bought Cole a new spin caster fishing pole this weekend, and he and Tate practiced casting in the yard on Saturday afternoon

Mike and Cole went to the lake early Sunday before church to fish... they didn't have much luck, catching only a turtle and this sun fish. $5 if you can actually find the fish in the picture ;)

We let Cole take Tate for a ride on the 4 wheeler by himself for the first time

The Honey Badger has mastered the stairs. Apparently the firefighter's hat helped.

Mike spent most of the weekend working to repair a leak in a sprinkler system lines.  He did it!  And let the lesson be that you should always try it yourself at least once (or five times) when the repairman quotes you $1,000.  Leak fixed by Mike several hours and less than $12 later!

Last but not least, a very happy birthday yesterday to my wonderful sister in law, Sabina!
