It is hard to believe that Cole-man is done with Pre-K and is all set to start Kindergarten in August. This week marked his last week in Mrs. B's class, and they had plenty of celebrations. First up was a class party at a bounce house. One of the students' parents generously sponsored this party, and the kids had a blast!
Mrs. B handed out her own awards to each of the students. She gave out awards for things like "best smile," "bug whisperer" [which went to a girl!], "best hugs," "best stories," and...
Kindest Heart!
I was immensely proud of that! Cole is a sweet and kind [and rowdy and crazy] boy.
The class gave Mrs. B a gift of their class picture in front of a sign saying "Class of 2025" that was framed with each of their hand prints
We gave Mrs. B and Tate's teacher their own reusable insulated drinking cups for summer, tied up with gift cards to Barnes & Noble, which Cole refers to as "Barnes & Notebooks." :) We also took cookies to Tate's school from Sister2Sister bakery (um, YUM!).
Next up was the all-school promotion ceremony.

Cole and Mrs. B on the first day of school... and the last. He has grown. Literally and figuratively. He is mature, smart, and a much better listener. And those pants from the first day of school are now 2 inches too short.
Field Day is tomorrow and that will mark the end of this week's festivities and promotion. So proud of Cole, so thankful for a wonderful teacher, school, and friends. We are already counting down the days to Kindergarten in 2.5 months!

Funny we posted the same thing :) I know you are proud of your sweet boy!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see Abby isn't the only one that grew a foot this school year!
