A (Crazy) Day in the Life

Today has been insanely busy.  It actually started last night when a package arrived for Cole from Johnny.  Stilts. He loves/hates them (OCD). Don't ask me why he has a fleece on in 90-degree weather (independent).

He can take up to 10 steps at time on them, but gets really frustrated when he loses his balance.  He is obsessed with trying them, though. Over and over and over again (determined).

This morning, the Pre-K classes at Cole's school had Texas Day and celebrated with a Chuck Wagon lunch and carnival.  It was all very, very cute, but I was busy pulling my hair out helping the kids at the picture frame craft station with glue and confetti, so I literally did not get a single picture.  But, here are Cole and I dressed and ready to go this morning:

We ended the day with the final swimming lesson and a swimming/BBQ party afterward.

Tate was having none of it when Ms. Sarah got him in the water.  He did end up loving it when I went in with him. We swam for at least half an hour.

Sweet Saige is under there somewhere.  Porcelain skin necessitates a big hat.

No one has ever said the Stansberry boys even need sunscreen with their olive skin.
Helmets, maybe. But not hats or sunscreen.

The swimming class graduates: Jett, Cole S., Breckin, Cole K., Sutton

The graduates enjoying well-deserved hot dogs and brownies

I am beat. Mike is gone. So, I'm taking volunteers to come over at 6:30 am when the boys wake up to do this all over again tomorrow...

Anyone?

Anyone?
