This is my hubby Mike sitting on a pallet of sod that we worked hard to install under a large oak tree on Saturday. Yes, WE. I watered the heck out of the dirt and the grass for a couple of hours and brought Mike at least six beers while he raked and laid the sod.
This is the project about half-way done.
And the new ground feels wonderful under our feet!
And if you are wondering what is new under our feet inside the house... well, that would be an entire GALLON of orange juice that I spilled while trying to get something out of the back of the fridge while holding the baby. Never a dull moment, people. Never a dull moment.
