Ol' King Cole was a merry old soul!
Cole's class presented the skit at Chapel the week after his birthday. The teacher let them sign up for parts they wanted. He chose the King. Of course he did.
His teacher also gave him a choice of two crowns. He chose the largest, most ornate one. Of course he did. (Beck, Cole, Garrett)
And I'm not sure how you end chapel, but Cole ends his with a dub! Of course he does.
I love this kid. He keeps us on our toes and he drives me insane sometiems, but he is confident and FUN! Last Wednesday was the First Quarter Awards Ceremony. Congratulate our...
Leader! Two different teachers at two different times have e-mailed or communicated to us this year just how much the other students look to Cole, and how he is truthful and a good example of leadership.
Not to be left out, Little Man Tate received an award for Perfect Attendance the first Quarter (only 3rd though 5th Graders are eligible for Character Awards). He also received straight Mastery marks on his report card, and the teacher told me at conference last week that all the kids in class try to copy off HIS papers! #smartypants
This week is the Library's Great Pumpkin Contest, and of course our little artist wanted to participate. He chose to make Santa Claus from "Santa is Coming to Texas!"
Last week, I managed to sneak in lunch with all my closest Jville friends to celebrate FOUR of them with fall birthdays. Kelley hosted, and we had such a nice time!
How cute is this tablescape!? I helped a bit with custom pumpkin place cards. Just call us small town Martha Stewarts. ;)
Kelley, Jill, Ashley, Nat, Destiny, and me
Mike and I got in an extra birthday celebration with Mama D (and Brad) over the weekend. We had a fancy dinner out in Tyler, and then came back to our house and watched Tech and OU score 5,000 points each in the football game. HA!
Love my family. Love my friends. Love college football.
Big game this weekend. Guns Up!
xo,
Linds
